Paper dolls

This morning our adventure was to make paper dolls. Lizzie got the idea from Little House in the Big Woods which we are reading together. After a day of baking Ma cut out paper dolls for Laura and Mary, so we thought we would too. (it was not after a day of baking though and I was still in my pjs so I'm no Ma Ingalls) I also got to search the internet for "printable paper doll patterns", I'm sure they didn't do it that way either- out there in the big woods. LOL
I wanted to share the link because I sifted through a lot of sites and found a pretty basic doll which I printed out on card stock on our color printer and cut out. Julia's has been colored on and bent up but Lizzie is doing her best learning about the durability of paper dolls. It was well worth the hour it took up of us working together at the table.

You have to download and unzip the file and I only printed the page with the girls and the dresses which I let the girls color. Tomorrow if she is still interested I might print the outline of the dresses on colored scrap paper I have. I DID NOT mess with the collars and what not- who would!?!?!?!?
