it only takes 10 minutes

This is why we worked so hard to build this space for them and they certainly make good use of it. This much damage can be done in about 10 minutes. Most days I don't even go downstairs, as long as its not under my feet I am happy. Unfortunately Andy comes home from work through the garage and more often than not this is what greets him.

This was yesterdays damage . . .

And apparently I don't give my kids enough candy, because Lizzie has a lollipop wrapper in her pocket and I've caught her smelling it a couple of times. LOL

My sisters don't normally feed their kids any sugary desserts. Birthdays are exceptions, but the kids, ranging in ages from 15 months to 8 years old, have not really developed a sweet tooth, with the exception of Kathleen, who was adopted at age 4. Sarah bribes her 3-yr-old, Amelia, to eat her dinner. The reward? Grapefruit. I love grapefruit, but I don't think I would have gone for it when I was three! So let Lizzie sniff that wrapper and wonder when the next one might come along. Maybe she'll stay thin and youthful (like her mom!)

That is hilarious. Try to take it away from her, and I'll bet she'll say "NO! My Precious!"
When I as in middle school I used to buy candy with change I found around the house...children and candy are so sneaky together.
