They got my attitude!
It's so much fun as a mother to watch your kids grow and to see family resemblances in them. I hear all the time that the girls look just like Andy so I looked through my pictures and tried to compare them with the girls. I definitely passed down my expressions and my personality, but they look a lot like Andy's side of the family. Especially their Uncle Jamie, which is kind of funny. I don't think at a young age they look a lot like Andy but Lizzie looks like his toddler pictures (I don't have any to post).

That's Julia on the left and me on the right, she really looks like her father.

These are pictures of me when I was a toddler, I have definitely seen those looks on Lizzie! What is up with my hair?

This picture is of my sister and I, it always makes me laugh. My mom used to take all our pictures so I'm sure that present is just a prop. This picture is so indicative of our personalities, she is white knuckling that present just as much as I am but continues to maintain the perfect smile.
I have had the challenge lately of the girls not really getting along. Lizzie was unware of her sister's presence on the beginning but as Julia gets more mobile she is getting into her sister's things and is NOW disrupting Lizzie's world. If Julia is crawling towards a toy that Lizzie is playing with Lizzie will box her out. I'm having a hard time not telling Lizzie just to leave her sister alone and pick another toy, that's the easy way out. But that won't teach them to be together. I do my best to teach Lizzie not to aggrivate Julia and they can correctly and nicely play together. Yesterday she took all of Julia's toys from her and went and hid them, she is really testing her limits with her sister lately.
Oh man, she is so much like me I am in such trouble!

Man, that picture of you and Julia look a lot a like, but you can also tell how much Lizzie looks like you in the other pictures. That is fun, to see who they take after.
Hang in there with the sibling bickering, I don't have many words of wisdom (seeing as how I don't have any kids) but my brother and I fought a lot as kids and now he is one of my best friends.

Your hair was just precious! You were one of the most beautiful babies I'd ever seen. Were you a hard child...I'd have to say yes! You always wanted more than you could manage. I think I have a granddaughter just like that. Bet you wouldn't have guessed your mother would enter your blog comments, did you! Well, here I am!

I know you put another post up, so we're supposed to move on, but that picture of you and Heather is the funniest!
It seems so interesting to get to see a person as they grow into the face they're going to have for the rest of their lives. And they change so fast, too. They could both end up looking just like you, or not at all...It's so cool.
