Well, the verdict is in!
It's another GIRL, that's right folks- that makes THREE GIRLS!.
(check out her hobbit feet by the way, and I thought my first two were tall)
Ok so honesty time, althought I have now had 3 hours for it to sink in. I totally cried when I found out and then cried more cause I was feeling so guilty for crying over a healthy baby just because she had a vagina. LOL, I guess I really hoped for a boy more than I thought. It was a bit of an emotional morning, feeling weird for being disappointed and laughing at Andy's jokes and pitiful girl name suggestions!
Thankfully everything checked out fine and she seems to be growing just fine. She. . . hmmm, I guess I'm getting used to it.
The scan did make things more real, no my growing belly didn't do it for me Lisa! :) I don't usually get emotional about the babies until they come out but I do feel like my status of knowing her a little bit has been raised and for that I am thankful.
So this weekend I think I'll go out and find something crafty to start making for her. Maybe I'll take Lizzie with me and do a little bit of shopping for girl's baby clothes I totally won't need but more need mentally and emotionally.

Yay for baby girl #3! I appreciate your honesty in sharing you feel. I am very excited about this new addition to your family and I can't wait to meet her and watch her grow up with her 2 big sisters. I always wanted a sister of my own, your girls are doubly blessed with 2 sisters each.
The picture is great, so clear! And there is nothing wrong with big feet (says someone that wears a size 10)!

Oh my goodness!! She's beautiful!! My sixth granddaughter and what a peach. I could just love all over her already. Congrats my darling! You too, Andy.

My brother and his wife have 4 boys and she said almost the same thing after the last one was born.
Isn't life funny??? Congrats on your healthy, baby
girl.

If she is anything nearly as sweet and wonderful as your other two you will be a very blessed Momma!
My mother has made comments before about how nice it is to have daughters. Of course she loves her sons more than anything, but she said that girls grow up to be your friends. Boys just don't develop the same kind of relationship with their mothers.
How fun it will be to watch your three grow up to be best friends with each other and then one day with you too!!

congratulations! we had an ultrasound today, too and got to watch our fourth boy wiggling around.
