much improved

(this will be a more cheerful post I promise)
The week has gotten much better. We've spent hours at the pool and lots of time playing with friends. What is it about the summer that has kids antsy while in doors. We have much better days when we have plans, thats for sure.
We spent 3 hours at the pool on Tues. Here's my short commercial for the place- it is awesome!! I almost became a member when my close friends did but we felt it wasn't a good idea when we had a free membership at the Y and I could swim there. On their website they list the cost as $4 a person and I found out during their free swim weekend that the price has changed to $3 a person and 4yrs and under are free. This made my whole summer, I will NOT be driving to Hixson to swim at the outdoor Y pool, I'll be driving 5 minutes down the road to Moore Rd and swimming with friends. It rocks! The pool is enormous and whole center section is only 2.5 ft deep so it makes it a lot easier to watch more than one child. Everyone should come out and join us for the fun, we are loving it.
I have noticed that it doesn't matter how much sunblock I wear I am super sensitive to the sun. I'm pretty sure its a pregnancy hormone thing but I think I'll be cranking it up to 50 next time.

Pregnancy is going great and fairly uneventful. Andy saw her move through my shirt the other night, I was wondering if she could have possibly been shifting positions completely since it was unlike other movements. It was huge. Both Andy and I are so unsentimental about it all, we don't oh and ah, his response was- how weird! It is sort of alien like, kind of cracks me up. What can I say, at least both of us are like that. We're much better with the babies once they are on the outside.
I'll see the high risk next week and we'll chat about what the plan will be for the rest of the pregnancy. My regular ob is hoping we can back off the visits a bit since I've had two healthy pregnancies on the blood thinners, but we'll see what the high risk wants.

Here are the girls a week or so ago playing "slumber party" in the morning. They do really well sometimes playing together and were having an especially good time this morning. I can't wait till we can do our renovation in the garage and create a play room for them. We want to enclose half of our shot gun garage to make an extra room. I am looking forward to putting all their toys down there and just leaving the door open and encouraging them to spend lots of time down there! We're starting in August and our end goal is by the time the baby comes. I will really need this extra space. Work has been wicked busy for me but I've taken every job offered to put towards this renovation. I'm hoping there is left over ikea money to get some furniture and storage stuff to make the room that much more fun. I also want it carpeted and a new stair railing, we'll see how far the money goes. :)

I am feeling so not crafty lately, just exhausted and spent by the end of the day. I have a few dresses that are pleated and I could be smocking but I am so unmotivated. It's such a shame. At least I'm having another girl so the dresses I have that are a 2 and a 4 will work for Julia and the new baby eventually. : )
How pitiful, I think its time for ice cream!
