What is up with White Cloud diapers
I think White Cloud diapers (sold at Walmart) have changed their quality and size slightly in a way that I am not happy with. I went to buy a box of size 3s last week and noticed you get more per box and there was a new design, which was exciting at first. But when we put them on Caroline they were like string bikinis! How could she have outgrown them so quickly? I don't remember the last box being so small! So I literally gave away half the box and bought the 4s to try and figured they might have changed their design but its also likely she really did out grow them.
Well, I just found a size 3 in the girls' room with the old design and it fits fine! So they did change the design and fit!! I don't like the new ones and am fairly annoyed.
Anyone else noticing issues? I might break my generic buying streak and change to pampers!
(I know, a whole post about diapers but I'm thinking majority of my readers are in the same stage and if not they probably clicked away at the first sentence)

Huggies are way way cheaper than Pampers (19 cents/diaper vs. 25 cents). Luvs have a super obnoxious smell. That is my two cents!

we get the sam's version, which is the same thing I'm pretty sure, just looks a little different. and I noticed that the quality went down. I didnt notice the size issue as much b/c Alice was needing to upgrade anyway, but now that you mention it, yes they seem smaller. soon she'll be done tho, and then we have a few months break before the teeny-tiny diapers come out.

Pampers are pricey! I used Luvs until they started PERFUMING THEM! Yuck, that's the last place I want perfume. I am a fan of Target's store brand. never really got into White Cloud. But I'm just excited I have a good 6 months before I have to change another one! There is much rejoicing!

I used White cloud with Andrew for a while UNTIL they went and started putting less in the box. I told everyone I knew and even wrote a nasty letter, (that I am sure they never read) stating that for the price they were currently charging it was actually cheaper for me to buy huggies or pampers instead. I did just that and started buying the pampers baby dry (green box, not swaddlers or cruisers)! I have loved them and don't mind spending the extra dollar or two per box. I realized, through a friend that never stopped buying white cloud despite her frustration, that they switched back to bigger boxes several months later. Although you still don't get as many per box as you originally did, she continues to buy them and it is cheaper than pampers. However, once I made the switch back to the pampers with Andrew, I can't imagine changing. I love them and use them with Davis as well. So, I'm not sure about the latest switchero, but nothing about that company would surprise me (still a little bitter). As far as Huggies go, I hear they leak with little boys (they have with mine the few times I've tried) but may work great for girls! Good luck on your diaper search! Try the pampers baby dry from babies 'r' us when they have the $5 off coupon!

i'm a huge pampers fan, and we have tried EVERYTHING...seriously, i think the only diapers that we have not tried are luvs...not going to now. anyway, the white cloud diapers that you gave us have worked just fine, but i slap a pampers on him at night...they hardly ever leak. anyway, they are a little more pricey, but if your not going through them as fast, i would think that it would even out with price. i wish that we had a costco here, we just got done using their diapers, and they were great.....of course, this is the first time we've had to go through any diapers at all, as it is our first, but i thought i'd give my two cents!

I noticed it was harder to get the size 3's on Mandy, but figured she was just outgrowing them. It didn't occur to me that they would change the size.
But while we're on the subject of size, it irritates me more than I can even express that the clothing manufacturers are not more consistent with their sizing. It's not like we can take our babies into a dressing room & try every thing on them. I have 12 month stuff, in a summer style of course, that she will probably not grow into until this winter and she has some 6 month stuff she is wearing and some 18 month stuff that is too small. Drives me crazy!!
But back to diapers, I don't think there's any disputing that Pampers is the best - the best fit, the best protection, the best feel. I usually settle for Luvs or White Cloud for the price, but if money were no object, she would only wear Pampers.

As for myself--i really do not care to much for white cloud diapers. I have a two month boy and I received a package of white cloud for my baby shower. Precious little man just peed through them. I really enjoy pampers swaddlers!!! I have used them ever since Connor had his little accident with the white clouds. Plus-with the pampers swaddlers-I haven't went through them as much as I did with white cloud diapers. Keep up the good work pampers!!! You have my vote!!!! :) Tonya from Knoxville, Tennessee

We got a white cloud diaper in our bag that had a tennis ball size hard spot in the middle of it. I surely don't want to put this on the baby. I am not sure what this is or what it is from. My thought is that it is pour quality, but i am unsure. Has other people noticed this with any of the white cloud diapers that they have purchased ?
