Finished sewing projects
I've been sewing a lot over the past week which has been so much fun. I love making gifts for people and equally love to receive homemade gifts. I took labeling Lizzie's rest towel to a new extreme. LOL I have a serious affection for felt, that stuff rocks!!!
This weekend there is a baby shower for my very sweet cousin Christy who is expecting her third, a little boy. We're heading off to Atlanta for the weekend to see the Goseys so I'll be missing the shower but I loved putting her gifts together. I made another hooded towel and I was really pleased with how it turned out. I didn't mean to sound arrogant with that comment, but its always nice when the end product matches what I've dreamed up!
I had to follow my own directions for the taggie, lol how quickly I forgot. And thanks JL- I stole your way of presenting the two cloth diapers with a pacifier leash, hope you don't mind!! :)

Where did you find those ducks? They are adorable. Is that your best towel ever?

I was inspired by ducks on carter's bedding and drew them and cut them out of felt. I'm not sure if this is my favorite, I made one for Erin with little cars on it that turned out really cute. Too bad you got one when I was only in the heart phase. LOL When I post the directions for construction I'm going to show the other designs I've done for ideas if people want to sew them.

we love our towel!! also, i've got to come over with some supplies and have you show me how to make a taggie i would love to make one for jess, well i guess i should say for wyeth!

I was so excited to see the gifts you made for Christy at her shower! (she was of course too.)
I've been wanting to email and ask you to blog about the hoodie towel and the adorable diapers!! Wow, you are so creative. I just love everything you make. The towel you made Josiah is our favorite for both kids... it's so big, soft and absorbent!
You rock! I loved reading about your date with Lizzie, and your potty training woes. (I'm there with ya) I don't envy your sleepless nights, but am rooting for your new routine to be successful!
I'll just cram all my comments into one... hope that's ok.
