one week down
I am so relieved its friday, and even more relieved that there is no bootcamp tomorrow. LOL
I actually half way wonder if I'll be excited for it to start up again on Monday, how sick is that. I am competitive to a fault! I can't wait to sleep in though.
Today we ran a timed mile and also did as many pushups as we could in order to compare with how we have progressed by the end of camp. He still managed to cram in the usual squats and lunges still. We did walking lunges with bicep curls and when you were coming out of the lunge you lifted your back leg! He timed us for a minute and we did two sets. Needless to say my back end continues to hurt. lol
I'm glad to have a week down, now only three to go. As cheesy as it sounds it was fun to hang with Amy, I spend majority of my day and days alone and its fun to be with a friend. My main motivation in even doing this. I'm such a social butterfly!
If this weather keeps up I'm hoping we get to spend tomorrow at the park or something fun as a family (that's after I sleep in!). I've tried to not make any plans for the evenings so I can allow myself to really recover and rest, which is hard because I love seeing my friends and having families over.
There's a nutrition class offered on Sunday, a perk of the bootcamp I guess. Yesterday Amy and I were indecisive in whether or not to go, we both eat pretty healthy and even if not are pretty educated in the area. I asked Kevin if it were going to be a class where he told folks to quit going through fast food drive thrus or if there was going to be more to it. He talked about the biggest secret being how the consumption of sugar can pretty much halt fat burning. Now I'm not so sure I really want to learn about that. This might be an area where ignorance is bliss. lol It's already affecting me, that morning I second guessed the amount of sugar I put in my coffee- but went ahead with it anyway. :)

Wow. Bet those days of UTC soccer are like a faint like dream at this point! You've got a beautiful family.

Thanks. Yes, those days seem like a different lifetime, one when I had a much younger body.
Thanks for the comment about the girls, your daughter is adorable. Great name by the way!
