Goofiness

Today while I was making dinner I could hear Lizzie saying, "now you say- 'I won't let your people go!' and you be Pharoah." And of course not too long after I could hear Julia's little voice yelling, "I won't let your people go!".
"Now also be grumpy and mad, cause you're Pharoah." LOL
Hmmm, wonder what Lizzie's kindergarten class is learning about right now.

Then at dinner Lizzie was telling us she learned about Martin "Luthus" who nailed 95 "thingys or programs to. . . what was it mommy?". And she and her dad had a little chat about Martin Luther and then Julia pipes in with her randomness- "Hey guys. Remember when mommy scooped that stinky gunky stuff out of the pumpkin? I didn't want to do any of the scraping. It was yucky. (shaking her head in disgust)" LOL A random comment to follow a reformation discussion.

This one caught me off guard- while they were in the back seat together a few weeks ago Lizzie pointed out a cemetery and said something about how thats where people's bodies are laid when they are dead. (ugh the death talk again) So we talked about their spirit and heaven and of course Julia says she doesn't want to go. And Lizzie says, "it'll be great, Esther will be there and Noah and Moses and Nann. LOL"
Then Lizzie asks Julia, "Do you know what David did after he killed Galiath? He cut off his head (and to my dismay she is making the motion by using her index finger across her neck) with his own sword!" Julia is looking a bit stunned but I think it mostly went over her head and we circled back around to heaven. Then Julia says, "Mommy guess what? I can move my tongue all around my mouth!" And then she does in fact move her tongue all around her mouth. Never a dull moment.

Here's a little video today of the younger girls playing in the pack n play, they stayed in that thing for over half an hour. Don't know why I didn't throw them in there together months ago!
Caroline was getting the biggest kick out of Julia. And yes, thats her new trick of blowing kisses by sticking her finger in her mouth and putting it out. It's how we all blow our kisses now. :)

That is so cute! And we too just discovered how useful the pack and play is for keeping active babies in one spot for a couple of minutes! Truett likes being in ours because it is just the right height for him to pull up and he can cruise along the "walls."

How sweet! Babies are so precious. I love her kisses. Those conversations are hilarious! Blogs are great for recording funny kids things aren't they?!
