Julia, the early days
Today Julia turns 4. At the risk of sounding cliche- where did the time go?
I was looking back through pictures and was going to post several throughout the years but then I thought you could just go here and experience her super cuteness since I am wiped out. (yes I totally just recycled an old blog post instead of digging back through pictures- recycling is in, right?) :)
Instead I'm going to post some pictures of Jules in her first week. I wanted to included Lizzie because these were some precious first moments not to mention the fact that she looks just like Caroline!
We had a great birthday. Thanks mom's group for celebrating with us and thanks Nann for driving down to spend the afternoon and a birthday dinner at Red Robin. What a great day.
Joy Lynne with Julia at the hospital. This was also JL's bday which I forgot in my pain pill induced stupor. Unfortunately that wouldn't be the last time. In my defense, April 2 and April 22 are very easy to mix up. :)
Nann and Julia, my one witness to all the girls' births (since Andy won't watch me be cut in half).
Amy, she loves newborns, can't you tell? lol Pretty sure I was just teasing her about how good it looked on her. ;) She waited in the recovery during the surgery since we couldn't figure out how to smuggle her in. Stupid hospital regulations. Incidentally, there's a box next to her of my sister's present of lovely knitted gifts. (please note the awesome bonnet on top)

Lizzie meeting Julia, she had a double ear infection the whole time I was in the hospital so didn't meet her till we came home.
Daddy and Julia. What a little bird. Can you see now why Caroline coming out an ounce shy of 10lbs was such a huge answer to prayer not to mention a shock!
Listen for her to say "I hold it" as she man handles Julia's head. :)

We love you Jules and are glad you're in our lives!
"Hey guess what?" You're four now!!!!
(hey guess what being the phrase that starts all her sentences lately, what an exciting way to ask a question or share a random fact. lol

Happy Birthday Julia! WOw. you are a big girl now! 4 years old. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses!!
I didn't realize your birthday and Josiah's b-day's are so close! He just turned 3 on monday.
